1. What we collect

When you place a custom order — through the order form or the chat assistant — we collect:

Your name, email address, and (if you provide it) phone number
Order details: the item you want, colors, sizing, timeline, and any notes
Reference photos you choose to upload to show what you're envisioning
Shipping address (if you choose shipping over local pickup)

When you join the Krafted Club (our membership program), we also collect:

Your email address and display name
Birthday (optional — used only to send you a birthday message)
Your order history and Krafted Bucks balance

When you visit our website, we collect basic analytics automatically:

City and state (derived from IP address — we do not store your full IP)
Device type and browser
Referral source (e.g., a link you clicked to get here)

Retention

Order and customer information is retained for as long as necessary to complete your order and maintain business records. You may request deletion of your information at any time — see the Contact section below. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months and is not linked to individual identifiable records.

2. How we use your information

We use your information only to run this business:

To understand what you'd like made and prepare a quote
To message you about your order, send updates, and request payment
To complete and deliver your finished piece
To send birthday messages and Krafted Club updates (if you're a member)
To improve the ordering experience on this website

We do not use your personal information for advertising targeting or profiling.

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your information, ever. We share it only with the trusted services that make ordering work:

Stripe — to securely process deposits and payments
Zoho Mail — to send you order updates and messages
Supabase — our database provider, where order and member records are stored securely
EasyPost — to generate shipping labels when your order ships

These providers handle your information solely to deliver their service to us and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes.

4. Your reference photos

Photos you upload are used only to help create your order — so Nae can see what you have in mind and match colors and style. They are stored securely and are not shared publicly, used in marketing, or used for any purpose other than your order.

5. Pinterest API Integration

This application uses the Pinterest API to publish business content (product photos, posts, and pins) to the Krafted by Nae Pinterest business account. Krafted by Nae is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.

What Pinterest data is accessed

Through the Pinterest API, this application accesses only the Krafted by Nae business Pinterest account — specifically, the ability to create and publish pins to business boards. No Pinterest user data belonging to visitors, followers, or third parties is accessed, stored, or processed.

How Pinterest API access is used

Pinterest API access is used exclusively to:

Publish product photos and content to the Krafted by Nae Pinterest business boards
Support business analytics related to content performance on Pinterest

Pinterest API access is never used to collect data about Pinterest users who view or interact with Krafted by Nae content.

Pinterest data retention

No Pinterest-derived data is stored beyond what is necessary to maintain the API connection (OAuth access tokens). These tokens are stored securely as server-side environment variables and are never written to logs, committed to code, or shared.

What happens if Pinterest access is disconnected

If Pinterest API access is revoked or disconnected:

All stored Pinterest OAuth tokens are immediately discarded from our system
No further API calls are made to Pinterest on our behalf
No Pinterest data is retained after disconnection
Previously published pins remain on Pinterest and are subject to Pinterest's own policies — we do not have the ability to remove them via API after disconnection

No redistribution of Pinterest data

We do not sell, share, license, or redistribute any data obtained via the Pinterest API to any third party for any purpose. Pinterest data is used solely to operate the Krafted by Nae Pinterest business presence and is never combined with customer order data or used for any purpose outside of publishing business content.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information — including encrypted storage, secure HTTPS connections, and server-side-only access to credentials and API keys. No system is 100% secure, but we are committed to protecting what you share with us.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information
Opt out of any non-essential communications
